Hawthorne House is located in the heart of Hawke's Bay wine country. Minutes from everywhere, yet miles from anywhere!
We're about a 5 minute drive from both Hastings & Havelock North.
From Hastings - Follow the railway line out of Hastings City heading South (signposted to Wellington). We're about 6km out of tow - as you pass through the Longlands Road intersection, we're 2.2km along the road on the right-hand side.
From Havelock North - leave the village on Te Aute Road. Staying on this road (it becomes Longlands Road after 4km) keep going until you cross the railway line (total of about 3min drive). Cross the railway line and turn left at the crossroads. We're 2.2km along on the right.
From Napier / North - come past the airport, following signs to State Highway 2 (2b) to Wellington / Hastings. Stay on this Expressway until you get to Bridge Pa roundabout (about 15min). At this point turn left (2nd exit) onto Longlands Road, signposted to Havelock North. At the next crossroads, turn right onto Railway Road (road running along railway line - do not cross the railway line). We're 2.2km along on the right.
From Wellington / South - approach Hawke's Bay on State Highway 2. Where the road branches indicating State Highway 50A to Napier, continue on SH2 signposted to Hastings. We're 1.2km passed the junction on the left.
Driving distances
Hastings and Havelock North are both around a 5 minute drive from Hawthorne House. Napier's about 15 minutes and the other attractions of the combined area are all within a 30 minute drive.
Napier/Hastings Airport is around 20 minutes away.
