Hastings Golf Club, located just 3 minutes from Hawthorne House, is consistently ranked amongst the Top 10 New Zealand Golf courses.

You’ll find a round of golf at 'Bridge Pa' a challenging and enjoyable experience, set amid picturesque surroundings.

For our guests' enjoyment, we are pleased to offer the following preferential rates:

Stay 1 night and receive 20% off of green fees at Bridge Pa;

Stay 2 nights and receive 40% off of green fees at Bridge Pa;

Stay 3 nights and receive 60% off of green fees at Bridge Pa;

Cape Kidnappers Golf Club / 29km (18 miles) / 28min

Designed by legendary golf architect Tom Doak, the Cape Kidnappers par 71 golf course measures 7,119 yards (6,510 meters) and will challenge golfers of all skill levels.

Completed in 2004, this spectacular golf course has been hailed as one of the great modern marvels in golf. Cape Kidnappers is currently ranked as the 41st best golf course in the world by Golf Magazine.

Hawke's Bay Golf Club / 9km (6 miles) / 14min

Located adjacent to the Hastings Golf Club at Bridge Pa, this is an easy walking, challenging 18 hole course with mature trees and manicured greens.

Napier Golf Club / 20km (12 miles) / 23min

Napier Golf Club “Waiohiki” is the oldest Golf Club in Hawke’s Bay, having celebrated its Centenary in 1996.Over the years it has been the site of many New Zealand and inter-provincial tournaments and hosted the first ever New Zealand Open in 1907.
