As we move into month two, of twenty twenty two, we think it is about time for you to start planning your next adventure.

Now that Christmas is completed and families have been visited, surely the next trip in the calendar is one… just for you.

With the freedom of movement that “Red” allows us, the world (or at least New Zealand) really is our oyster.

We may be biased, but we think there is no better place to treat yourself than @hawkesbaynz .

As we all get used to life at “Red” we want to ensure all guests, past, present and future that as with every aspect of our business, we are meeting the Government's Covid-19 requirements, and then some.

As a Qualmark accredited business, we recently seized the opportunity to undertake their “COVID Clean Approved” assessment.

The Qualmark award is a recognised and trusted sign of a quality travel experience, and the COVID Clean Approved assessment has been designed to complement the high standard this award represents. By completing this assessment, it shows everyone who enters Hawthorne House that we are undertaking everything possible to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Not to mention, by nature of only having four bedrooms, staying at Hawthorne House significantly limits your exposure from crossing paths from other guests/staff - just one benefit (of many) that you get from staying at a boutique bed & breakfast.
